Essence make up review (Wilkos)

Recently I took a trip to wilkinson'a (wilkos) I didn't realise they had make up stands such as Maybeliene, Rimmel, Collection, Maxfactor and Essence. I was so excited have a browse and swatch at the Essence products. Heres what i brought and what i thought…haha rhymes ;) Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow 18 - £2.50 I love eyeshadow actually I'm obsessed with eyeshadow and when I saw these metallic glittery goodness I had to swatch! They are very glittery more than metallic but I assumed that was because I was sticking my fingers in it in the shop and not using a brush.   I choose to buy the shade choco chic because it was a brown/bronze colour and those are my favourites.  Above I have taken a picture after just applying it. I used flash because you couldn't quite see the colour payoff without. The glitter in the pan seems to disappear after you used the eye shadow a few times which is a little disappointing because I like the glitter. I do you really like t...

February Favourites 2015

Once again i'm going to talk about a few things i have been enjoying in February, not got many beauty faves so it's very random - LETS G0! Firstly i love my nails. I got them painted at the beginning of the month. I go to  Sunshine Hair & Body  near where i live. I fancied something with colour to get me in the spring mood. Pastel blue and green - perfect for spring! This is Jessica GELeration nails - so its my nails but they last about 3-4 weeks with no chips, its good for me because i can't paint my own nails.  Ive got a fragrance now. Perfume is the hardest to describe ahhh. GIORGIO ARMANI - Si Eau de Parfum retails at £45.50 30ml ( Boots ). I bought mine on holiday - gotta love Duty Free ;) The bottle is sleek and simplistic...far from the scent! Si smells of blackcurrant, i don't mean i go round stinking of Ribena, but there is defiantly a hint of blackcurrant. Its one of my more sophisticated perfumes, quite warm. I never normally stray from m...

MAXFACTOR CREME PUFF BLUSHES

(30 Gorgeous Berries) When i saw the release of these blushers i was skeptical because of the Creme element - instantly thought STICKY. The MaxFactor Creme Puff Blusher are new to the drugstore in the UK ( Boots & Superdrug ). There are 6 shades in this range. When swatching i thought glitterin'hell - i'll look like a disco ball with these blushes! The lighter shades such as 5 Lovely Pink and 10 Nude Mauve may be more of a highlight for medium skin tones. I have seen that these blushes are a DUPE for Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushers  which are £28! In my eyes that makes these MaxFactor blushes a  bargain  at £8.99!  Im not sure if some shades are online exclusives as i was looking for 20 Lavish Mauve , it was impossible to find!  I bought mine in the shade 30 Gorgeous Berries . Gorgeous Berries is the darkest blusher in the range. It is what it says on the tin, its a berry shade (I ts a purpley/Pinky shade ). The formula is a powde...

January favourites 2015

January favourites, the first favourites of the year and for the first time on my blog. I wanted to do a 2014 roundup favourites but was a little late so I figured I'd do my January favourites which could also combine into what I got for Christmas I suppose ;) I have filmed my January favourites on my YouTube channel it was a colab with Sarah V. All links below :) It's been absolutely freezing during January and my skin has suffered for it thank goodness for the Clinique moisture surge moisturiser. I've been using this for a few months now but have definitely been reaching for it more this month as my skin is really dry. I love that this is very light on the skin and feels more like gel texture than creamy like most moisturisers. I like to put a thick coat/layer on at night so that it sinks in throughout the night and just a small amount in the morning after cleansing - perfect!  To go with my Clinique moisture surge moisturiser I have been using my Laura Mer...

P.S Love Your Skin (Primark)

Recently i have noticed that Primark have released a Beauty/Skincare range (P.S). Being a Primark worshiper (no joke) i jumped at the chance to try some things. So i tried a few of the facial wipes as they were 2 packs for £1!!! (BARGIN) Now i have/get dry skin but it can get a little oily. I like to use wipes as a quick fix or as part of the make up removing process (follow for my skincare routine). The Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes - £1  (2 packs) Claim to be for Normal & Combination Skin. Lightly Fragranced...that is a understatement! For a face product these are heavily fragranced. Dermalogically tested. With vitamin E to help nourish skin. They smell very floral/perfume ish. They feel very soft though and are actually wet. Like they wont dry out after having them open a few days..they are still moist (EWW HATE THAT WORD).  I have been using these for a little over a week and below is a before and after of my skin (no makeup). ...
