Mac Haul

Sorry this has taken longer.  I have decided to review the prodcts i recently Bought from M.A.C.  So recently I have been earning my money in a new job. Therefore I had decided to treat myself!  So a trip to Meadowhall (Sheffield) as this is the closest MAC counter to me that I can access in my wheelchair.  I went with my Auntie & two cousins, so that was a nice girly day out.  Anyway get on with it..... Prep & Prim highlighter pen - £18 For those who don't know I have dark circles and bags under my eyes due to the lack of sleep. I have been using this pen underneath my eyes, down my nose and the bit on my chin. Basically where your face naturally highlights. This pen does that perfectly. Similar to YSL  Touche Éclat highlighting pen. However I find the Mac one works better for me. I have dry skin and this prep & prime didn't cling  to it unlike the YSL one.  There is a great choice of shades to choose from. I bought raident rose, this is because it has Pink underto

P.S Love Your Skin (Primark)

Recently i have noticed that Primark have released a Beauty/Skincare range (P.S). Being a Primark worshiper (no joke) i jumped at the chance to try some things. So i tried a few of the facial wipes as they were 2 packs for £1!!! (BARGIN) Now i have/get dry skin but it can get a little oily. I like to use wipes as a quick fix or as part of the make up removing process (follow for my skincare routine). The Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes - £1  (2 packs) Claim to be for Normal & Combination Skin. Lightly Fragranced...that is a understatement! For a face product these are heavily fragranced. Dermalogically tested. With vitamin E to help nourish skin. They smell very floral/perfume ish. They feel very soft though and are actually wet. Like they wont dry out after having them open a few days..they are still moist (EWW HATE THAT WORD).  I have been using these for a little over a week and below is a before and after of my skin (no makeup). As

My mad fat diary

I am so happy that My mad fat diary series 2 has come on to our screens -thanks E4!  Watching the first episode where the main character Rae is going through some issues of self confidence. I don't think I ever realised how many people must feel fat,  ugly, too skinny, spotty...what ever I didn't realise that people have so many issues with themselves - I'm not the only one.  I Alwsys say be happy in yourself, it's easy to say its actually believing it that is the problem.  There are so many things that can make people like me (plus size, wheelchair user) feel uncomfortable about themselves.  Just flicking through a magazine I can feel different, like I don't belong. Hanging around my friends somwtimes has me feeling uncomfortable because they are stunning and skinny, I'm jealous.  Don't get me wrong I'm not depressed like the character in my mad fat diary but guess what I'm saying is I'm not the only person out there that feels like this.  I did

Baby Skin - I don't think so

Maybelline baby skin - instant pore eraser Brilliant product or overhyped? I recently jumped on the bandwagon of getting Maybelline's baby skin instant pore eraser.  I was really looking forward to using this after hearing so many good things about this product, with it being compared to see many other "hyped" primers such as Benefits' POREfessional. I have never used a primer that claims to erase the appearance of pores before so was very excited.  I applied after cleansing toning and moisturising my face just before I was about to put my make-up on. I don't think it did actually made a difference.  I certainly couldn't really tell it seemed to add a weird shine to my face. But I wanted to keep trying it because so many people had hyped the product so I assumed I wasn't using it correctly. Because it claimed to erase the appearance of pores instantly I started to begin to think I could see a difference. Maybe it did blur the appearance of pores mostly sli
