FOTD - Disney edition

So for Christmas my mum bought me and my cousin tickets to Disney on ice magical festival in Nottingham. Me and my cousin absolutely love everything Disney and have been to Disney on ice quite a few times now and this one did not disappoint!

These are the products that I used for Disney on ice. I wanted to use gold and red but still keep it quite subtle.

For a base I used my wonderful Diorskin Star Foundation (£31.50) paired with my MAC Pro longwear consealer (£17).
I wanted to keep it natural but cover the dark circles I have at the moment.

I have fallen in love with my Benefit Rockateur blusher (£23) all over again. That rose gold glow is my perfect every day for spring/summer...actually all year! I think it makes me look like I have contoured... which I haven't because I don't know how to do it properly.

I have finally got round to using my Mac Viva Glam Rhianna lipstick (£15). When I first bought this I hated it! It really dried my lips up.. It literally took the moisture out of my face! But when I pair it with a lip liner such as Rimmel eastend snob or Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk it seems to apply better and not try my lips out. I think this is the perfect red shade for me because it's a pink red not a red red... You know what I mean!

For my eyes I thought it was perfect opportunity to use my Disney villains eyeshadow palette (from Disney shop now unavailable). I used the Queen of hearts gold shade all over my lid. Then I used the Cruella DeVill shade lightly in the crease and also to line my eyes.

I was really happy with how my makeup turned out. :)

#MYBEAUTIFULSTRUGGLE

I don't really know what I'm going to call this blog post. I have to discuss Jordan Bone's latest YouTube video "My beautiful struggle". This video had over 25,000 views in 24 hours! ( Congratulations Jordan) . The point of this video was for Jordan to show her viewers The struggle she has to apply make up. It's almost like a behind-the-scenes about how difficult it was to learn to do her make up. She is a positive, beautiful, ambitious inspiration which makes her the perfect role model for so many different people not just those with disabilities. It's not easy to put a video like this online for everyone to see. To admit that you can't do most things for yourself and have to ask for help with everything is difficult. Down to silly little things to normal people ( able people ), like brushing your own hair or dressing yourself. Do you take that for granted ? Maybe ? You probably don't even realise your morning routine is completel...

June favourites 2015

These are A few products that I have been loving in the last month. They are all actually fairly new because my birthday was the end of May.  Clinique Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing Moisturiser  I visited Bicster Village for my birthday and bought this moisturiser from the cosmetic company which was heavily discounted - WOO! I've been really struggling to find a decent night cream. I have dry skin but also have quite a lot of redness. Since I've been using this I have noticed my skin is a lot less dehydrated and looks brighter in the morning. It claims to be helping with sun damage and anti-ageing which sounds good to me. CHARLOTTE TILBURY Brow lift eyebrow pencil This is literally the best eyebrow product I have ever used! It's got a spoolie brush, a browbone highlight and obviously the pencil. 3 in 1 ticks all the boxes. I've not been very good at doing my eyebrows in the past but this is so easy to use! Well worth the money. ...

July Favourites 2015

Not many make up favourites this month because I haven't been wearing much make up recently.  New to me this month the Bourjois colour boost lip crayon in peach on the beach. A Tescos bargain find at £2!! It's a glossy finish which needs reapplying a few times. It feels like to lip balm but with a decent colour payoff.  My Nars radiant creamy concealer has been my best friend this month! (Running out - cry!). I have been on antibiotics this month which have caused me to break out... Good old concealer! It's an oldie but a goodie. If you haven't heard of this product then it's really worth the money because it covers well, lasts all day and doesn't crease.  Paired with concealer I have been wearing my Mac mineralise skin finish powder in medium plus. Which is also running out! Brilliant for a "no makeup makeup", great coverage without looking "powdery".  The Maxfactor 2000 calorie mascara is...
